One very dramatic forfeit win, and one very dramatic overtime win later, noLuck moves onto the lower bracket finals in Group B of the CEVO-ocz tournament to play iNsurrectioN on de_train.

As for our latest match, we started off the half with a 9-6 lead and e$$ence managed to tie it to take it to overtime. After a very close and intense 10 round overtime, noLuck came out on top with a 21-19 win.

After a forfeit win over TAG in our first lower bracket match, noLuck.cs played dscapE tonight and came out on top with a 16-8 win.

Kelowna, BC

After a long hot weekend in Kelowna, noLuck.cs finally returned home on sunday morning with a 2nd place finish and $370 in prize money. While a few delays with the servers, power and internet ran the tournament into daylight on sunday morning, it was an all around exciting tournament with a few interesting results.

noLuck started out in group A with stL, wM and xzone. Beating wM and xzone early and losing a close match on inferno to stL, left the team with a BYE in the first round of double elimination. Losing to motus early in the second round of double elimination set us back quickly, although we rallied to win three matches in a row to euphoria, SPP, and stL to make it back to the grand finals, where we eventually lost to motus on nuke.

Overall the tournament was a success, and xzone should definitely be holding some very good lans in the near future. Thanks to all the staff who worked hard to put everything together and gg's to all the teams who attended.

Lexington, Kentucky

The DoD US Open ended Monday at 3AM. The finalists.. not noLuck. noLuck placed 4th out of 12 teams traveling all over the country to claim number one. The first day was a round robin. noLuck played in group three which consisted of 2 of the top 4 teams in the tournement. This was very odd seeing as noLuck had just placed 2nd in CAL-Invite 2 weeks before the LAN. noLuck finished the day with a record of 2-1 geting a #5 seed out of 12 for the double elimination the second day. noLuck started off strong winning their first two matches and losing to an upsetting match versus TAP, where TAP came back from a 200 point deficit. noLuck proceeded through the tournement where they met the team that beat them in day 1 on the same map coincidently. It is safe to say this was uKz's best map as noLuck fell to them again and getting knocked out of the tournement, placing 4th overall.
